Ford Roadster '27 Model T
This '27 Roadster was designed and built by Brian Mackey/Mackey's Hot Rods, Inc and completed in April 2012. It was constructed in 14 months all in-house at Mackey's Hot Rods, Huntington Beach, CA. The build consisted of over 1,400 man hours. Everything on this late 60's era hot rod was hand fabricated. The details and craftsmanship are truly amazing. From the high gloss black body, to the hand build custom frame and suspension, to the bright chrome plated side pipe exhaust, it is sure to impress.
The 1927 Ford Roadster was featured with "The Original Sailor Jerry Hot Rod" in the Viva Las Vegas documentary for Sailor Jerry Rum. This video documented the two hot rods on a road trip from Huntington Beach, CA to Las Vegas, NV for the world famous 2012 and 2013 Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend
The '27 Ford was also featured in the October 2012 issue of Hot Rod Magazine. The 3 page article written by Brandon Gillogly, followed the build timeline from start to finish. It highlighted the sheet metal fabrication, lead work, custom build radius rods, assembly of suspension and final shot of the completed roadster.
The Roadster was then featured along with Brian Mackey in a Europan Hot Rod Magazine for November 2012. This article by Bo Bertilsson was recieved very well and given a 5 page spread. It highlighted the details and quality of the build with detailed photos of engine, frame and suspenssion.
Body-All Steel 1927 Ford 2-door roadster, all rust removed and sheet metal replaced, hand fabricated sheet metal floor, hand fabricated windshield post and frame, light green tint glass, Model A grill shell.
Frame- Mackey's Hot Rods, Inc., Powder coated Ivory White, Drilled lightening holes in rear crossmember.

Brakes- 1956 Ford F-100 Bendix front brakes(drum)(drilled backing plates), 1965 Ford Mustang rear brakes(drum), Mr. Roadster pedal/master cylinder, steel braded front brake hoses.
Drivetrain- 1968 Chevrolet Corvette 350ci Engine 325hp. 1968 Chevrolet Corvette TH400 Transmission with original corvette short shifter, Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carburetor, Mallory distributor, Mustang radiator, 1960's one off aluminum valve covers. Driveshaft by Drivelines, Inc.

Quality and professionally built 1927 Ford Lakester Street Rod. Completed in 2009, and hardly driven, this example is titled as a 1925 Ford which is obviously much better than Kit Car/Replica status. 1927 Ford Roadster
1927 ford roadster professionally built by a well-known hot rod shop in Missouri and originally commissioned by a casino as a prize. It's powered by 350 Chevy engine, TH350 transmission with Lokar shifter, and sports a beautiful, fiberglass body with two opening doors and a trunk. Finished in show quality paint, with pin stripping and white walls. It really is a show stopper. The interior is finished nicely, with Dolphin gauges, Grant removable steering wheel and pull switch starter button. The undercarriage is just as clean as the body. Much, Much, more. Multiple Show Winner!
