1956 Plymouth Fury owned by Cut Outs member Ron Dulin of Long Beach, California. The car was nosed, decked and shaved for handles, the doors and deck lid was operated by electric pushbuttons. The shaved hood was louvered to add cooling for the engine. The bumpers were simplified by removing the bumper guards. The original grille was shortened 8 inches and fit with 5 1954 Chevrolet grille teeth. The appearance of the rear end was modified by raising the fenders 2 inches and peaking them. The re-countered fenders were fit with Cadillac Eldorado taillights. The trunk was upholstered and fitted with safety equipment and accessories. The interior was done in black Naugahyde with gold piping, an rear-seat tonneau cover was made to match the interior. Full length lakes pipes were added to bring the car physically lower to the ground. Later on the rear wheel wells were raised 3 inches and flared. The stock bumper was swapped in favor to a Ford bumper, the ones found on 1952-1954 Fords. The body was fit with gold scallops as well. The third version of Ron's Plymouth was fully scalloped by Larry Watson of Watson's House of Style and fit with 1956 Ford Thunderbird hubcaps.[1]
