Ford 1949 - 50 - 51 (shoebox) custom & mild custom galerie

1951 Ford Custom Deluxe for Sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 51 Ford has a 1953 Mercury 255 CID V8, with two rebuilt 2 brl 97 Stromberg carburetors and a newer electric fuel pump. The heads are Offenhauser, with an Eddie Meyer Tunnel Ram intake. This Custom Deluxe has a \3 on the Tree\ manual transmission with a beer tapper knob, and a 12V generator with chrome cover. The body on this customized Ford has shaved door handles, electric truck lid opener, stretched 57 grill teeth, fender skirts, and true spoke wheels that have knock off spinners with Diamondback tires that have a 2 1/2 inch whitewall. The are LED lights in the grill and ground effect lighting under the car. The Baby Blue paint with Navy Blue flames is nice shape with a few chips here and there. It is an older paint job that still looks really good! The trunklid is electric and is operated from a dash switch. The spare tire on that Continental Kit is attached to the trunklid, so it moves up with the lid. This Ford has all new shocks, with adjustable Load Controller II air shocks on the back with the controls for them in the glove box. The front end has been rebuilt back in 2004. It also has all new steering bars.

1949 Ford passenger car. The car has seen extensive modification and upgrades. The top has been chopped, including the interior window molding. The chop was done very professionally and completely. There are no visible welds or grind marks as the finishing was done to the highest of standards. The body is very straight with no dents. The car just received a new clutch about a month ago. There has been a lot of work mechanically as well. The brakes are 100% rebuilt from master cylinder to wheel cylinders, including new brake lines. The suspension has received new upper and lower control arm bushings, kingpins, tie rods, tie rod ends, and new lowering blocks with U bolts.

This is a full custom Shoebox Ford. Top chopped 7". Headlights and taillights are frenched. Grill and bumpers are re chromed. Fully air bagged. Triangulated 4 link rear suspension. Motor is a rebuilt 383 stroker with a turbo 350 transmission. Interior still needs finished. Seat is done and car is insulated. It was built at Wrecked Metals in Boise Idaho

It has the original flat head v8 8BA Canadian made - Very Rare and runs great! along with a Mallory electronic distributor, Offenhauser dual aluminum intake, brand new Stromberg super 9 7 carburetors, power windows, power trunk popper, power door poppers, custom 2 tone paint, converted to 12 volt system, custom 1200 watt sound system along with the original radio, DVD player, re built generator and starter, new regulator, rear air shocks and lowered in the front. This car is very complete and it's a real head turner! The interior is in great condition minus the front bench seat that needs to be re upholstered. It is very hard to find one of these for sale anywhere here in the US or Canada and especially in this great condition every thing works in this car from the cigarette lighter to the clock and interior lights!
