1955 T Bird - David Guymon

When I first started going to custom car shows with Dennis McPhail back in the late 1990’s, David Guymon would almost always have some new crazy custom making a debut. And I don’t what year it was when I first laid eyes on his ’55 Bird, but I distinctly remember thinking that it was the first Thunderbird that truly blew my skirt.
It’s all a bit odd too as I typically never go for the space-aged 1960’s show rod thing, but David just has a way with pulling off outlandish cars without offending lines or some sense of practicality. And he does it with a bit of a “Wichita” look that I love.
