1956 Lincoln restyled by Dave Puhl for Bob Dzemkse.

This is one of a very few of these elegant vehicles remaining in this condition. Discovered in an Indiana warehouse where it had been stored for over 35 years.....this car was rust free....but not running and the interior was completely deteriorated. The odometer reads a little over 33,000 miles...the man I bought it from said ...due to the general condition of the car...he thought that was original.
It has been completely restored and mildly customized to re-capture that classic 50s look !!!

A 1978 Lincoln 460 cubic inch low mileage engine with matching C-6 automatic transmission was installed....runs great....plenty of power.
The interior was completely re-done....seats are white with dark blue piping. Dash is dark blue....headliner is white. Dark blue carpeting.
A modern stereo system was installed and hidden in glove compartment. The original radio was left to maintain originality.
4 new radial, wide white wall tires.
Car was completely re-painted....color is "MIST BLUE".
Vintage air conditioning with heat ....works great.
Power windows and seats...all work properly.
Spot lights and laker pipes are non-functional...just for trim

1956 Lincoln Custom. The engine is a 351 ford with AOD tranny. The windshield, roof & trunk have been sunk 3 inches. Air ride on all 4 corners. The hood, the front header & the headlight have been hand made. The back 1/4's & wheel wells have been changed to allow the hand made bubble skirts to fit. The taillight are 56 Packard & the fins were extended 4 inches to allow the Packard taillights to fit. The rear bumper is 1956 Caddy with 1953 Merc ends under the taillights. The interior is 1966 tbird.
This car took me 9 years to build. I did every thing except the paint & upholstery & I am presently looking for a 1956 Lincoln steering wheel.
I hope this car makes it as a Radical Kustom

Custom paint; classic custom drawer knob grille; lake pipes, flame throwers; adjustable rear air shocks (with compressor); engine is 429 Merc; C-6 trans; F-100 truck rear/axle.

After market air conditioner. Car always start right up. Inspected and in great mechanical condition. Everything works. Reliable long range cruiser. Burns no oil.

There are a few small chips off the paint here and there, and a few 1"-3" rust/bubble spots....normal things from years of use. Cosmetically the car is not 100% perfect...just those small things.
