1956 Ford F-100 Custom Truck
Full custom 1956 ford truck. The truck was originally built in the 60's, and has been a show truck since it was built. When it was first built it was Metalflake Green and went by the name of Green Giant. It was shown and driven a bit in that color. In 1970 it was Painted White with Murano Gold Pearl, Candy base Gold, And Candy Tangerine. At the same time as it was being painted, it was also being upholstered in White Pearl and Orange.
This truck is a survivor. The paint and interior is 43 years old and still looks 90 percent as good as it did when it was on the ISCA show circuit in 1971 and some in 72. After 1972 the truck was stored and has been kept inside except for the occasional drive to charge the battery and keep it mechanically sound. The truck won many Best Custom and numerous other awards when on the show circuit.
A few years ago I decided to make a couple of upgrades to make it handle better. I added disc brakes on the dropped front axle, and a 10 bolt rear end with Posies Super Slide springs and a sway bar, which greatly improved the ride and handling. I also added a Southern Rods Air Conditioning system which is hidden under the dash. I also installed a Performance Online 19 gallon aluminum fuel tank under the bed, which is accessed through a door in the bed.. The bias ply tires did not ride very well as they were 43 years old also. I decided to change to radial tires and new wheels. Billet Specialties Vintec wheels seemed to me to have a kind of Vintage flair to them as they have five spokes and a modified slotted look. Other than the wheels and tires the truck looks the same as it did in 1970.
The truck is a statement to the ingenuity and resolve of the early Rod and Custom builders. The Grille is handbuilt from Electrical Conduit. The Ar Cleaner is an original off of another ford from that era that has been Customized, likewise the ValveCovers. All of the Chrome was done in the 60's and is still very presentable. The paint style is back as evidenced by the foldout in the June Rod and Custom. This truck has not been to a show or rod run since the70's, so would make a hit as a driver or a survivor.

1954 Ford F100 Custom
This is a 1954 Ford F100 pick-up limited special edition. The chrome grill and spare tire mounting are original and only equipped on the 1954 F100 special edition. The Truck was totally "off frame" rebuilt and modified by a custom hot rod shop in Hollywood CA. The Body was lowered and custom fabricated steel fender skirts were added.
Engine is a new Ford Cleveland racing motor with all additional parts and equipment in chrome, including a Hilborn style chrome air scoop. Custom chrome panels installed on firewall. It has a new 9" rear end, and a new front end, a new fuel ejection system, AC CELL DFI microprosessor controlled ignition system, new 3 speed automatic transmission, new power brakes, power steering, power windows, power door locks, and power hood air scoop installed. A complete new Mopar suspension and new shocks and bearings installed. It has a complete new custom interior with center council and chrome "Ididit" steering column, leather steering wheel, new "Dolphin" chrome gauges and chrome "Billet" pedals.
Chrome plated running board ribs. There is a 12 disc 200W JVC stereo MP3/AM/FM/CD player installed. New "Vintage" heat and air conditioning system. Chrome grab bars at truck bed were added. Only the body, chrome grill and oak wood truck bed is original. The body has never been dented and has no Bondo. Custom painting under hood include Marlin Brando, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean hanging out at a 50's drive in diner. I wasn't with them! All the custom hand painting (not vinyl), including interior dash adornment, was done by Gary Glenn, famous custom hot rod painter in California during Ed Roth's "rat fink" days in the 50's and 60's. This rod has "flomaster" dual pipes which together with the Ford racing engine sound like a ferrari. It will peel rubber in every gear even though it's an automatic transmission.
It was test driven at over 110 mies per hour at the "Michigan Speedway". The paint finnish is an eight coat process with two additional clear lacquar coats and is absolutely flawless. The motor and whitewall tires have 6,600 miles on them. This truck was intetionally created to simulate a hot rod as customized in the 50's including chrome headlight half shields, duel adjustable spotlights on each side, and a custom matching windshield visor. I took it to a few car shows for a couple years after I completed the restorations and modifications and it won trophies at every show

1954 Ford F100 chopped top lead sled
Here’s a sweet 1954 Ford F100pickup! Completed just this past fall it’s as fresh as they come, with the look that everyone wants and all the right modern upgrades to make it drive like a more modern truck. Spend less time cleaning, polishing and tinkering and more time cruising. The truck comes with a NY state registration.
This is a custom truck that you won’t find anywhere else. The roof has been chopped 5 inches. The front bumpers are 1958 Chrysler Imperial and the grill has been treated with a POR-15 product over scuff polished steel. The hood has a reverse hinge kit and operatessmoother than most factory reverse hoods. The bed is a Ford Ranger step-side with F100 fenders grafted into it, giving a more appealing look then the old utilitarian beds of the time. The bed also includes a late 80’s flip open Jaguar fuel cap, 1955 Thunderbird tail lights and 1958 Impala reverse lights. The tail gate has been fabricated so it could be removed and a worthy motorcycle could ride in the bed. The rear bumpers consist of a little 50’s Desoto Grill and some 50’s Chevy bumper parts. The running boards are even completely unique. The windshield is a polycarbonate plastical so included with the sale is a solid side glass kit that will still need tobe installed.
The paint is a Hot Rod Flatz SteelBlue with old school scallops in a darker navy blue and finished off with beautiful pinstripes laid down by Mark Matyjakowski. http://www.pinheadlounge.com/MarkMatyjakowski The bed has beenlined with a super hard two part epoxy tan finish that will take a hatchet tochip and should possibly outlast the steel it’s applied to.
The truck has the drive train of a 1994 Ford Ranger which includes power steering, power brakes, disc brakes upfront, independent front suspension and an automatic transmission. This makes maintenance on this truck very easy considering all the parts are very attainable at most any local parts shop. The front brakes are brand new, including all new brake and fuel lines throughout the truck, the rear drum brakes still need to be replaced. The front suspension consists of a brand new DJM Suspension Dream Beams dropped I-beams and the rear is a DJM flip kit. The truck rolls on old 15 inch steel wheels, wrapped in NOS vintage Firestone bias ply wide whites. Inclueded with truck is one spare matching tire.
The reverse hinged hood opens up toreveal a strong running 4.0 V6 Ford Ranger engine, with a custom cold airintake. (Consider that they have several V8 swaps available for these frames) The exhaust system has been completely replaced to include the manifolds, down tube and oxygen sensors. Some Thrush mufflers finish off the exhaust with a nice throaty sound and a pair of tips stick out each side of the truck for an old style custom look. The Radiator and A/C Condenser are also brand.

Re: Ford Pick Up 1953 - 1956 custom & mild custom
This truck has that new car smell we all love as a result of the freshly wrapped seat and door panels. This brown faux leather interior looks and even acts just like real leather and durable enough to be used for outdoor furniture. The truck maintains factory Ford Ranger heat and A/C with the controls hidden in the glove box. The gaugecluster is factory F100 with a working retro-fit speedometer. The custom 50’s Pontiac gauge pods in thecenter of the dash display water temp and oil pressure. Finishing off the door panels with a set of armrests out of an early 60's Ford Fairlane. Another nice little addition is the modified shifter that has been langth end and toped with a number 4 pool ball.
NOTE: The two photos of the truck out doors with out the model, you'll notice it's missing it's pin stripes, sits on differant wheels and the windshield it not full. These photos were older and taken before the truck was finished to the point it is now.
