Chevy 1958 custom & mild custom

This rare 1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Wagon 4 door has the right "Kustom Kulture Look”. It starts, drives and stops very well. It has a "half dozen buzzin" 235 I6 Blue Flame with about 10k on it after a full rebuild. This classic has very good compression, oil pressure and “Loads of Power”. The Motor has new water pump, new fuel pump, rebuilt distributor with new Taylor plug wires, fresh Dual Carter Carbs on a polished Edelbrock Manifold, 100amp Chrome "one wire" alternator. Lots of chrome - So-Cal Coil, Pulleys, Motor Mounts, Fan, Valve Cover, Dual Corvette Air Cleaners, Side cover, Fire Wall Panels, and Road Draft Tube. The 3 on the tree Manual transmission shifts well through all the gears. All new EZ Wiring 12V Harness. Purrs like a kitten, runs like a cheetah, and stays cool like Fonzi.


The interior is very comfortable, Blue and White Serape wrap the functioning bench seats, and a black carpet kit. White dash painted to match the roof. The interior needs door panels still and a headliner, the original bows are included. The body is straight and solid shot in Metallic Blue with a Navajo White two-tone roof that looks amazing in the sun. The body and rockers have no visible rust, the floor pans have been replaced. Doors shut like new. The trunk is clean where the spare was now houses the Air Ride set up.

This rare Wagon is a lowered ride with Air Bags all the way around. Dual Viair 380c compressors, Dual Chromed Tanks, 9 position controller. Brand new 175 Radials White Wall Tires on NOS 14” Reversed Cragar Wheels. Manual Drum Brakes all around. Rebuilt drive-line with new u joints. New Shocks.

The windshield glass and Seal is brand new, one year wagon only it was very expensive.Flat glass on the doors have cracks (not in drivers view) and can be cut by any glass shop, never bothered me. While the back window and rear quarters are chip and crack free. Windows roll nicely.

Many Kustom pieces and touches including rocket 1959 Cadillac Taillights, Dual "Bunny Ear" Antennas, Custom Split Header dual exhaust with great sounding rapping peashooter pipes, the overall look and stances screams "Old School". Shaved door handles and emblems.

The car was restored maybe 10 years ago and stored in a climate controlled show room never driven. The car started out rust free, it was a frame off restoration. Body was stripped and painted using House of Colors pearl White with a Blue accent. The frame was stripped and painted black. The doors handles were shaved and a switch in both spot lights were added to open the doors. A continental kit installed with duel exhaust with a kit to shoot flames out the exhaust.

The interior was professionally done by a local upholstery shop, no expense was spared. All the lights work as they should.

The motor is a 1958 348 tri power that runs and drives as good as it looks, power brakes power steering factory exhaust manifolds, lake wood side pipes.

Restored 25+ years ago and painted candy brandy wine. Here's a list of things we have done to it since we've had it, we rebuilt all the brakes including replacing master and wheel cylinders as well as new drums, lowered it with cut coils(planned on air ride but car does ride good as is), installed chrome reverse smoothies with bullet caps, the tires are new radial whitewalls and have less than 50 miles on them, we pulled the original leaking six cylinder out of it and installed a 290 horse gm 350 crate motor, installed a comp cams thumpr series camshaft, edelbrock intake and carb, motor is painted to match the car with finned valve covers. At the time of the motor swap the 3 speed transmission was pulled and resealed, new clutch, throw out bearing, as well as a new carrier bearing and all u joints were replaced, and a new 2.5 in dual exhaust was installed with glass packs.
