Well where do I start at on this very Custom Mercury, how about what people say about it when they see it. Either while at a stop light, getting gas, or at a small car show or large Goodguys event.

OH MY GOODNESS, WHAT A VERY COOL RIDE, YOUR CAR IS AWESOME, I LOVE YOUR CAR , IT IS GORGEOUS!!!!!

I REMEMBER THESE or I HAD A FRIEND THAT HAD ONE!!!

These are just a few of the things people say to me when I have this 51 Merc on the road, or at any car show no matter big or small. If you do not like talking about a very cool 1951 Mercury while out and about DO NOT BUY THIS CAR, as people simply really LOVE IT!!!! And they LOVE TO TALK ABOUT IT!!!

She has been smoothed from front to back and side to side, and she is laser straight. Her paint job is incredibly very shiny and very flat, (NO ORANGE PEEL HERE). Base coat clear coat sanded and buffed to a very shiny brilliance, and we have extra paint to go with her. The interior in this super cool ride is done in a period correct style that is in very good order and compliments the rest of the Merc. With a one of a kind SHIFTER!!! She has a BEAUTIFUL HAND MADE CUSTOM TAKE OFF CARSON STYLE TOP!!! (SHE LOOKS GREAT WITH THE TOP ON OR OFF) done in stay fast canvas!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her hood corners are rounded and the hood louvered, with 116 of them. She has a hand made grille comprised of a modified 1954 Pontiac center section and 1954 Chevrolet parking lights. Molded in lake pipes and custom made bubble skirts as well!! Her chrome and stainless are show quality. By the way (IF ANY PERSON CAN TELL ME HOW TO OPEN THE FRONT DOORS I WILL ALLOW THEM A 500.00 CREDIT TOWARD ITS PURCHASE, IT IS WAY COOL)!!!!!!!!!!! She has been sub framed with a Nova front end with POWER STEERING and POWER DISC BRAKES. She also has a small block Chevy that delivers plenty of power through a 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission, hooked to a 10 bolt Chevy Rear End. She is very dependable and easy on your pocket if she needs any parts. ALL are readily available via most any local auto parts store.

This car is not a cookie cutter Mercury, it is built in the style of those cars built by the famous builders of the 40's and 50's.

Chopped custom 1949 Mercury, 1991 Crown Victoria V-8, Automatic C6, disc brakes, power steering, new safety glass windows, tilt steering wheel, new American Classic white wall tires, new front and back seat upholstery, original front and rear suspension, new leaf springs, new bushings, new wiring harness, 1953 Chevy grill, shaved doors, 1957 Cadillac hubcaps and custom Mercury trim.

1951 Mercury Sedan has to be one of the best built Led Sleds we have yet to come across. This car has endless hours of custom workmanship that make it a one of a kind. The car has a nova sub-frame with power steering, power disc brakes, and chevy 10 bolt rear. The engine is a GM 350 crate motor with a turbo 400 automatic transmission. The engine starts right up every time and idles very smooth and the transmission shifts great with no problems. This is probably one of the best driving sleds we have ever driven, it is super tight with no shakes or rattles or even wind noise, very smooth and quiet on the road. Many body modifications where completed on this car such as the chopped roof, frenched in headlights, taillights, and power antenna. The body line on the side of the car has also been extended into the rear quarter with 53 Buick trim and custom fender skirts. The front grill is a 53 Chevy. The paint on the car is absolutely gorgeous with an excellent shine on a very straight body. The interior is just breath taking with a 49 Mercury dash, power windows, remote doors that work perfectly, AM-FM stereo, and air conditioning. All lights and instruments properly work in dash. steering wheel was also cut down to 15" wheel.

1949 Mercury. This car is not a trailer queen, this car was built to drive and have fun in. If you like wild lead sleds and want the muscle car power this is the car for you. The Merc has a 600 hp Merlin III motor that puts you back in the seat with a huge smile on your face. This car draws a crowd everywhere I take it. I feel the pictures will speak for the car.
