1958 Edsel ranger gasser
I have up for sale my Edsel gasser.and was raced and then put away where it sat. A few years ago a guy bought it and freshened it up and those are the videos you can find on the net. I'm not allowed to keep it due to my wife saying I have to many toys. I traded a $7000 motorcycle for this car and I know I'm not going to get that out of it. But for what it is its great. It has current tags and the whole drive train was recently replaced and re done. The front end is out of a 55 ford truck with springs and steering. The frame was custom built from doors forward as seen in pix. This bad boy fires rite up and drives. It has almost brand new M/T slicks on it and good fuel cell with Holly high volume fuel pump. Yes it is currently 100% street legal and current tags from CA. I had it listed before and the buyer flaked. |

1956 Ford Fairlane Gasser
1956 Ford fairlane straight axle gasser. I got this car from back east. It had most the lettering and suspension on it when I got it. This is not your "show car" pretty gasser that you see at the high dollar car shows, this is the real deal.
The front suspension is early ford style "buggie leaf" the split wishbone and new super glide spring. Speedway motors Chevy front disc brake kit. Rear suspension is coil overs with a Watts link with 61 Chevy truck ladder bars, braced for strength all connected to a rebuilt ford 9 inch, big bearing, 4:11 with full spool. Custom drive shaft with two safety hoops. New brakes in rear.
Motor is a 1964 413 Chrysler big block with 727 transmission. The 413 is completely rebuilt. Crank turned, six pack rods, bored .030, 516 heads with bigger valves, gasket matched ports, chevy insert stem seals, Mopar purple cam solid flat tappet and matching valve springs. Adjustable roller rockers, fabricated valve covers, 8 quart oil pan, high volume oil pump, gear drive, Hand made tunnel ram intake with dual early style carter AFBs and custom air box to deliver that sinister look, mini starter. Transmission has trans go "race" shift kit with b&m Shifter, 3200 stall converter. New aluminum radiator, stays at 180 in all conditions. Motor is recessed about 8 inches, raised and leaned back with solid mounts.
Steering box is a 1957 ford box that was moved back and lowered to make the early ford style cross steer. 3/4 inch rod was used as the column with two u joints and held in place with two heim joints. the steering is perfect and goes down the road perfectly straight and is easy to turn. 40s chevy steering wheel was adapted to column
Interior is tradition race style. Tach, oil pressure and water temp are the only gauges you need! Turned aluminum dash. High back bucket seats and driver seat has race harness. B&M shifter sits on top the trans tunnel and shifts into all gears perfectly. All floors are made of new metal with beads rolled in them for structure. All aluminum floor pieces are removable for easy access to transmission and rear of motor. Track legal Full roll cage. Lexan front window, made of four pieces to reduce vibration, and quarter windows all screwed in. Back window is original glass. Front clip is welded together and made to pivot forward to gain more access to the motor. Held down with hitch pins and brake hold down springs and latches at the top.

Re: 1950's Ford Gasser
Decklid completely removable held down in same fashion as hood. Gas tank is mounted in back of trunk with filler coming up through package tray. Electric fuel pump and big fuel filter mounted off roll cage in trunk. battery with external shut off also located in trunk. Rust around body gives it that perfect patina look, but is in spots that don't jeopardize the structural integrity of the car. Louvered decklid.
This gasser runs and drives perfectly stays cool and hauls ass. Recently took it to march meets in Bakersfield California and was one of the most popular cars there, and going to be featured in Hot Rod Deluxe magazine. I do not have a title for it but I can assist in anyway to get one I just don't have the time to sit at the dmv. The vin number is clear all that needs to be done is a vin verification and take that piece of paper to dmv. All the lights work, only the necessities, and custom switch panel made next to the driver seat to control fuel pump, ignition and lights.

1955 Ford Crown Victoria GASSER
1955 Ford Crown Victoria that from the West Texas Southern New Mexico area and it has been sitting for years, it would make a nice gasser project, years ago the rear wheel wells were cut to put a wider and taller tire on, at that time they did some bad body work and a paint job to match, I don't know what they were thinking because they ended up putting a 6 cal engine in it. There is some rust on the floors and some other area's on the car. the front seat, front and rear bumpers and drivers side door glass(door is shell only)are missing and I am not sure if this is the correct rear seat, some of the moldings are missing.

1956 Ford Victoria True "Gasser"
This 1956 Victoria Hot Rod Gasser has been hibernating in storage since 1968! The car was built in the early 1960's, and is a "True Original" Gasser, not just screwed together last month. The car was street raced in Milwaukee on Wisconsin Avenue, and raced at Great Lakes Dragaway from 1961 to 1968, and has been stored since. The car was ran with a 312 Tri-Power and a B&M Hydro-Stick Transmission. When the owner/builder died it was left to his son who had no interest in cars. The 312 and Hyrdo-Stick was out of the car and freshened at the time of the owners death, but stolen from his garage and has never resurfaced. A friend of mine bought the car complete, less engine and transmission, and stored it all of this time. I purchased the car from him, and have a 390 long block, Top-Loader transmission, Mickey Thompson cross ram and valve covers, which ARE INCLUDED in the sale, along with additional parts. The old time "Pie Crust" slicks and Fenton front wheels with the original "Trac-Action F78-15 Front Runner" tires are still in place! The period correct "Rupert" safety belts (Harness) are also in place with July of 1965 dates on them! Truly a very rare original find; there can't be too many left like this. There is so much original "cool stuff" about this time capsule that I will do my best to describe it the best I can.
The Victoria body was originally black and white two-tone, and later got the 1960's "Psychedelic" blue with gold fades. The body appears to be super solid with no visible rot in the floors or body. There has been rockers panels replaced apparently back when the car was painted. The patina is fantastic, but with any 1960's lacquer paint job, it shows cracking and surface rust in areas. The trim is great, especially considering age. The interior has custom GM front and rear seats - 60's correct, with custom door and rear panels; the steel trim was chromed and looks great. The dash is incredible! It has a: Tachometer, Motor Minder, Trans Oil Temp, Battery Voltage, Oil Pressure, Engine Oil Temp, Water Temp, Differential Temp, Cold Tank Temp (I'll get to that in a minute!), and a Shift Light that lights up and says "Let's Make Love"! The carpet is good, I wouldn't change a thing inside.
Here is where it gets good. The builder/owner of the car raced it at the track and on the street, so he added some groovy features to make this possible. There is a pump mounted behind the radiator position that pumped transmission and differential oil through the coolers in front! But what gets better is that under the package tray is an ice/water tank that has an electric pump, that, with the flick of a toggle switch, pumped ice cold water through aluminum tubing inside the air cleaner to cool the intake charge when racing! The car also has big fuel line throughout that was apparently cooled by the feature. Looking closely under the hood you will see a fresh air duct installed on the driver's side, just like the factory part on the passenger's side, that used to feed air to the heater motor. Put them both together and run them into an air-cleaner bonnet and you have ram air!
Scroll through the pictures and you will see the true "Milwaukee" and "Polish" background the original builder when you read the caption on the core support panel! Just great history in the original 60's "Gasser"! The tow hooks were mandatory and are still in place. The innovative traction devices on the rear of the car are something to behold, along with the mandatory "SOCK IT TO ME" barely visible, painted on the rear end housing.
