Je ne sais pas, c'est du style 1961 - 1963 et elle est sans doute mise "à l'envers"   t'as vu il n'y a pas de plastique transparent sur les phares ça ressemble à de la pièce Johan non ? car à l'époque (début 1960's Revell, Monogram et Amt ne faisait plus de calandre moulé avec les phares ?

Long, long before the advent of popular budget, larger scale diecast models, my late brother and I used to work together in partnership building custom plastic models. This was as a result of, primarily, both of us having keen interests in street rods and custom cars and being heavily influenced by the glossy pictures in Hot Rod and custom car magazines. The "kings" of custom cars were at their peak during these years and the magazines were loaded with wonderful examples of their craftsmanship and creativity. We strove to mimic their work in these plastic models. 50s and 60s Custom Car Show features various projects that my brother and I did during this time period. Realize that these models are over 50 years old now, yet they still are physically holding up reasonably well and providing me, at least, with a certain inner automotive satisfaction and an on-going fascinating curiousity- real 1:1s like these would be pretty awesome indeed. This is "Eye Catcher", one of the very first cars we built. It was a real cheap kit of a Ford Thunderbird.

Those who know will recognize immediately the '58 Buick grille. The rear end is from a ?, I don't recall. We chopped the top and leaded in all seams.

"Smasher" is a 60s chopped-top Corvette that has 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe front fenders grafted to the front end. A custom grille from beaded chain, slanted quad headlights, spinner hubcaps and custom tail fins and custom exhaust pipes are its main features. The decal scallops have worn out and lifted off ; the main center stripes are painted on. Unfortunately, a tail fin is chipped off. "Smasher" needs some attention. In its heyday, it was one our most notable reflecting the considerable amount of time it took to construct.

unorthodox 60s Corvette "Mazooga" is a special travel companion to the custom 1960 Chevrolet El Camino "Hot Head". It was designed as a "trailer queen" to be displayed on a trailer being pulled by the El Camino. The windshieldless, fenderless 'Vette suggests a salt flats roadster look with custom show car ammenities, an unusual and odd combination for sure. Almost all the cars feature various license plates with a favorite auto club, such as "Knight Riders", "Push Rods", etc., and in some cases "Lone Wolf".
