“The Venturian” is yet another in a long line of incredible custom creations by John D’ Agostino of California Kustom Cars. Based on a smooth, fastback-styled 1966 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 two-door hardtop, this multiple show winner features incredibly smooth bodywork topped with a House of Kolor custom paint finish and pin striping by Pee Wee, complemented by a custom two-tone leather interior with a leather-wrapped dashboard. Other features include Lucas headlights, gleaming brightwork, and chrome reverse-style wheels by Wheel Vintiques, shod by a set of Coker whitewall tires.



Like all of John D’ Agostino’s creations, the underhood area reveals a fully dressed motor with an abundance of chrome plated and billet components, while spent exhaust gases are removed by a complete stainless steel exhaust system. In addition, easy cruising is assured with power steering, power brakes, and a Pioneer stereo system. A very fitting tribute to the custom cars of the 1960s, “The Venturian” will continue to leave crowds of amazed onlookers in its wake wherever it goes.
