There is no comprehension what SEMA is like until you attend. As a veteran of both the Detroit and New York International Auto Shows, I thought I knew what it was like to walk amongst car display after car display. SEMA is totally nuts in comparison.
 
 
With three buildings chock full of manufacturer after supplier after builder, plus the outside displays, there’s simply no way someone can see it all. Yet even among all the displays during HOT ROD’s Monday’s preview, the PPG display stood out.
 
 
Designed to look like a carnival, PPG’s Carnival of Color had an extra dose of creativity that made it unique. We visited their display while they were finishing setting up as we couldn’t help but be drawn to the entrance and a sweet 1968 Caprice on the main floor.
