Engine,earlier model (1980) 350cid .020bored over,flat top pistons tew cast pistons with hastings rings,crank turned.010 iron eagle heads,72cc combustion chamber, 2.02/1.60 valves roller rockers.
trans 350 turbo with tci 11" break-a-way, b&m Star shifter. third member 3.55 ratio with 4.88 ratio spider gears. nice black interior, Boyd Cottington wheels, front disc brakes,a/c , power steering, Eye catching frame job, 6 disc stereo.

We will start off with the exterior of the ’56. This is a little bit of an older restoration. It is done in a gorgeous Red and White Two Tone color scheme with good body lines. The fit of the doors and trunk are also good. The bumpers as well as other chrome looks to have been replaced. We can not tell if the stainless is new but it shows very well. At the time of the restoration it looks as if the glass was replaced as well as the weather stripping.



Next, we will move on to the interior of the Bel Air. It is all done in a matching red and white scheme that really complements the exterior scheme nicely. The carpet was done in black with a white headliner. This ’56 has the electric upgrades to the wipers and the lights that also work as they should. The best I can tell the dahs has not been cut on and it retains the factory column and steering wheel.



Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. When you look under the hood it has a 350 V8 that has been dressed with an aluminum intake and holley carb with a chrome breather. It has an edelbrock Aluminum valve covers. The charging system was updated to an alternator. The engine is mated to a 4 Speed Trans and stock rear end. The brakes were upgraded to power with front disc When you look under the ’56 all the floors look good and the best I can they are solid with no visible signs of damage to the frame rails. The trunk also looks correct and solid.

This beautiful 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air had a complete frame off custom restoration less than 2200 miles ago. Powered by a built 454CI big block Chevy engine the car does not lack any power. The 700R automatic with over drive gives the car a great highway ride. Coil overs with ladder bar suspension. Power front disc and, rear drum brakes. For great handling up front power rack and pinion steering. For added convenience the car has power windows and remote door entry. 9 inch Ford rear with a mini tube. The paint is stunning with yellow flames on top of black with a ton of metallic flakes. The cold vintage A/C just adds to the wonderful 4 season ride.

This 1956 Chevy has spent just two years of light cruising since it received a frame off restoration. The sweet little Chevy has been stripped down and completely rebuilt from the ground up. Whether you are looking to drive to the show and take home a trophy or just the perfect cruiser, this 1956 Chevy fits the bill and is ready to hit the road.



The Chevy is a wonderful driving car that performs as well around town as it does on the highway. Equipped with completely rebuilt 350 CI engine equipped with an Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock intake and electronic ignition, the car fires right up and falls into a steady idle. The Chevy was built with a custom stainless exhaust which has just the right amount of rumble for the look of the '56. The transmission is a 700R4 overdrive unit that has quick shifts under acceleration and has an overdrive gear when you are on the highway. This makes cruising at over 70 MPH a breeze and keeps the RPMs nice and low and the fuel economy in check. The suspension and brakes have been completely rebuilt and upgraded to a front-disc setup from Right Stuff. The brakes are set up with a power booster and really perform accordingly. Low speed driving is effortless with the power steering system which has also been gone through.



When driving the car, you'll notice the completely restored interior which features all new carpeting, headliner, door panels and seats. The column has been upgraded to a modern tilt unit so you can adjust the wheel to a height that suits your driving style. All interior metal features new paint to match the exterior and a modern digital radio takes the place of the original unit.



On the exterior, you will find all new chrome and restored stainless trim. The two tone Teal over Blue is very striking, unique and is a stand out amongst the Red and White tri-five cars. The engine compartment and undercarriage also feature a high level of detail as one would expect on a frame off restoration. In the trunk we find the stock mat and more of that deep blue paint.
