1959 Kustom Chopped Cadillac
This Lost forgotten Cadillac was just brought back from an amazing story of life!
The car was built by a select few of crafted artisans. She started as a vision by Kent Koreza and built by Windel (BUTCH) Ried in Visalia CA. Butch Chopped a 2 door hardtop and using a 4 door roof. This is how the top looks longer and flows. Butch used cut down 1993 chevy truck windshield a rear window, He flared the wheel wheels and removed all emblems and handles. The Interior was done by a true artist JIMMY Z out of Morro Bay. He transformed the interior into a Piece of Art! Everything as the interior goes has been fully fabricated and kustomized. The trunk has also been fully detailed by Jimmy. Here is where the story gets a twist. The car was sold to the Famous actress Kristie Alley best know from the TV show "CHEERS", for over a 6 figure price. The Cadillac then vanished! Fast forward 15 years and the car was found. Well sort of... the car surfaced! The car was sold by Kristie to her assistant which keep the car under lock and key for years. Only to take her out a few times in a 10 year span. The Cadillac in her possession appeared in a music video and Documentary. Then I come into the picture. I purchased the car, Then went fully thru the car. I installed a whole new air ride and Auccair air management system, I installed front disk brakes and new Wilwood power brake booster, I had the whole front end fully rebuilt suspension wise, I had the Transmission fully rebuilt, and replaced the missing rear skirts, I installed brand new Stainless Cadillac spoke wheels.
This Is a DONE car. Not looking for Trades at this time thank you.
The car is a stunning piece of history and art. She runs like a top and has no issues. She been to Austin Texas and been to a few shows along California circuit and has received awards every time she is shown. She not Perfect but perfect to me....She has some scratches, bumps, and bruises. The bright work is Great but will need to redone if you are looking for a concourse build. She doesn't have a stereo or ac.. The original gauge cluster is molded into the dash and a few gauges aren't working or hooked up. She has power windows and the lights work. Power trunk pull down and a custom center console light that shines thru some blue glass panels integrated into console..
