Dodge Flite wing Concept Car (1961)

The Dodge Flitewing has two “flip-up” window-roof canopies which are automatically activated by the opening or closing of the doors. They can also be controlled by pushbuttons in the left door panel. The touch of a rubber tape along the lover window still reverses the electrical power window circuit so that arms and fingers cannot get pinched.



Windows of the Dodge Flitewing idea car blend into the roof contour, facilitating entry and exit, and improving visibility by eliminating a center post. The window operating mechanism is contained in the roof and trunk of the car.
