1934 Ford 5 Window Coupe hot rodded in 1967 19429810

1934 Ford 5 Window Coupe. This car was hot-rodded in 1967. The body is channeled over the original frame, but not chopped. It features a 1962 Chevy 327 motor w/fuelie heads and 2 four-barrel carbs. The 327 motor and the 4 speed Muncie (M-20) trans were rebuilt 10 years ago. It has 40 Ford juice brakes in front and Chevy in rear with 15" bias ply whites. The rear differential is a 1956 GM -10. This car did not have fenders when I purchased it. Therefore, I added the front & rear steel fenders. The body was repainted in 1993 and the front cycle fenders, rear fenders, rear gas tank tail pan, fire wall, front frame and 32 grille-shell were painted about 11 years ago. The interior and roof insert were re-done about 14 years ago, however the dashboard and all new gauges are 10 years old. I never did detail the inside of the trunk. I have made a few changes years ago to the original built hot rod to bring it back even further to the early 60's. For example: cycle fenders with the support inside plate that looks exactly like the 1963 Monogram Green Hornet or Black Widow models. Many of us old school hot rodders were influenced by such great model kits of the day. I have owned this car for about 13 years now and have driven it up-to 4 hours one way to shows. Basically, the only modern item on this car is the Tees’ seat. The lumbar support shape is perfect on long rides. Oh yes, you do see a 32 grille on a 34 car; if you look in several of your old 50's and early 60's hot rod books and magazines you will find many pictures of this combination. I, myself love the look! I searched the complete history for this car back to 1973, but that owner at the time, does not remember the names who originally built it in the 60's. Just that it was built in 1967 in Massachusetts.
I also have a brand-new chrome windshield frame and rubber seal that goes with the car!
This hot rod is a true 60’s hot rod. I drive my cars, therefore there are a few nicks of paint. The car is a strong runner and can be driven anywhere.
Below is some info and numbers regarding this car:
--Chevy Block casting- #3782870
--Block pad stamped numbers- T268440 and F0515SB from a 1962 full size car with a 327cu, 300hp I think.
--Heads #3782461, both sides are the same with double hump. 1.94 intake and
1.5 exhausts (1962-67 327cu)
--Differential- D56 or D58 (cannot read) casting #3707305 GM 10
--Original 32 grill shell, filled radiator cap.
--Cowl vent filled
--Bump Steer kit was installed 6 years ago
--Power Master Alt/Gen- I left the voltage regulator for the look.
--Pioneer AM/FM Cassette in the glove box and 6 CD Changer in the trunk. Got to bring the oldies!
Gauges are all newer Stewart Warner Wings curved glass, installed 11 years ago. Odometer reads about 10,000 miles now. Therefore, I have driven the car about 10,000 in 11 years.
The dashboard pin striping was done by "The One Arm Bandit."
--Vintage Hurst chrome front cross motor mount.
--Swing peddles.
