1951 Mercury chopped top lead sled old school classic custom.  High output 350CI dressed engine with 335HP and a 350 performance automatic transmission. Unbelievable paint job with a tremendous amount of micro metal flake and clean custom hand laid pin striping buried in a ton of clear. It has a louvered hood, side skirt and pipes, custom grille and 100 spoke wheels with whitewall tires. Custom digital dash, custom suede/tweed two tone interior, LED lighting throughout, nice stereo/CD player and ice cold air conditioning. It has tilt steering that makes it even easier  for a taller gentlemen to climb in and out of.   All electrical is working beautifully, shaved remote doors and trunk, dome light, back up lights, dash lights, etc. Power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power seats and power trunk. Interior and Exterior was restored approx. 15 years, always garaged in excellent condition. Painted Pearl White with extensive Pin-Stripping in Burgundy and Blue. Headlights, Signal lights, Tail Lights and Antennae are all Frenched in, Door Handles and Trunk Lock Assembly all removed, Drip Rail removed and replaced with Round Stock moulded in above Rear Windows. Front and Rear Bumpers have been Re-Chromed in very good condition. Gene Winfield Floating Grill. Fender Skirts. Overall Suspension is lowered with the use of Pacer Front Suspension and Rear Air Shocks. Interior is Upholstered with Blue and White Vinyl, Tuck and Roll with Blue Carpets in good condition. Dash is Original with Original Radio location housing aftermarket gauges. Tilt Steering Column with 67 Thunderbird Steering Wheel with Rack and Pinion Steering. Upgrade Radio is mounted in Glove Box. Trunk Compartment is completely finished in Blue and White Tuck and Roll panels and carpeted matching Interior. Engine Compartment is Customized with Inner Fender Panels that conceal all wiring and hide Battery Painted and Pin-Stripped to Match Exterior. Stock Steel Rims with Flipper Hub Caps and Wide White Wall Coker Classic Tires dress off the corners.

We have a nice chop top mercury the one u want, 1949 kustom merc in a jet black 2 stage paint house of kolors, very nice tan interior. chromed 11 tooth Desoto grill on a kustom metal pan..not cheap fiberglass like most, 51 merc front bumper, shaved doors, rounded hood corners, french tail lights , shaved drip rails, door and trunk poppers, hidden dual antennas, real metal skirts and yes nice chop, 350 engine 700r trans, Air condition, heat, power steering, disc brakes, dropped spindles, polished flamed aluminum valve covers, matching air cleaner, polished A,C compressor, polished alternator, polished brackets, polished reserved tank, electronic ignition, 9" ford rear end, very solid floors,,not some rust bucket someone cleaned up and build, we can add air bag suspension at extra cost.

This Car came from a local collector who purchased this car in 2003.



Body and Exterior

Clean body with smooth lines.

Floors and Frame look to be rust free and original.

Refinished in a 70s Ruby Red Metalic.

Custom work was done years ago but still shows very nice.

There are paint blemishes here and there that have been touched up.

Car has been chopped, nosed, decked, lowered, shaved,

Rounded hood, frenched antenna, frenched headlights, “V” butt winshield.

Body lines are nice and fit as they should.

Chop is near perfect, approx 4” front and 5 to 6” in rear.

Some chrome has been redone.

Recently added full lenth 51 Fender stainless, see picture.

Stock Grill with center removed and narrowed.
