1936 Ford convertible - Hollywood Hot Rods - Jeff Romig - designed Eric Black

Jeff Romig and his 1936 Ford roadster (#909) is titled the Long Beach Legend and it was designed by Eric Black and built at Hollywood Hot Rods. While there is plenty to look at one riveting, eye grabbing, attention getter is the 292 inch 1940 Lincoln V-12 engine…now that’s a hot rod Lincoln! (Commander Cody would be proud.) The front wheels and fenders were moved forward 4 inches, while the cowl was stretched 2 inches, and the hood shortened 2 inches. Other body mods include the grille leaned slightly forward, the front fenders are reshaped and seamless, the windshield lowered and raked and the roof chopped, and the lower feature line at the door is integrated into the rocker panel area. The dash and gauges are 1937 Lincoln Zephyr as are the taillights and the trunk handle which is now twisted into duty as a rumble seat handle. The hubcaps are 1936 Zephyr while the 1936 Ford bumpers were modified with Zephyr themed center bcar inserts.
