Chris Evans and his 1931 Ford roadster (#907) is powered by the “King” of the hot rod family of motors the Chrysler Hemi. This one is a ’54 vitnage sporting 331 inches, equipped with zoomie headers, and Autotrend EFI and a Joe Hunt magneto (electronic) to set off the fire. Controlling the “fire” and moving it rearward is a Tremec TKO 600 six-speed onto a Winters quick-change while getting the power to the road falls to the Coker radial wide whites mounted to set of Wheel Smith orbs measuring 7.50 in back and 5.50 in front. The side steering is from Schroeder while the windshield is cut down 4 inches. Inside are a ’50 Ford steering wheel and Classic Instruments. The front axle is a dropped and plated drilled I-beam with split hairpins and tube shocks. More front end inspired goodies include the Wilwood calipers hiding within the Buick finned drums. Another example of the Alan Johnson race-inspired gas cap rests on the rear sail panel.
