Meet George Jetson! The Ford Levicar Mach I was a concept car Ford introduced in 1959. The Levicar was a one-person, concept 'hover car' car elevated by maglev and small jets with a larger turbojet at the back for propulsion. A working model was actually built and while technically a success the fanciful project was quickly shelved.
