'66 Batmobile Aurora

Original, Vintage 1970's Batman Batmobile with Piston Action Battery Operated Tin Litho Toy Car. Made in Taiwan. This an extremely rare version of the Batmobile which incorporates a piston action motor in the rear. What makes this toy even more rare is the color. The toy was produced in 3 colors.The common blue, the rare gold and the extremely rare red version like this one. It is original, complete and in excellent condition with bright glossy lithograohy. The battery compartment is clean and free of rust and corrosion. It works great and when turned on the batmobile travels about with mystery bump and go action, a red light flashes between Batman & Robin, the pistons move up and down and a clear light flashes in the motor compartment. It features tin construction with detailed colorful litho, plastic hand painted Batman & Robin heads and the rare piston action motor. A picture of Batman"Batman" and Made in Taiwan are embossed on the bottom of the car. Measures 9.5" long.

And third in this fine trio is ASC (Aoshin Company) of Japan's battery powered, bump 'n go, tin litho Batmobile. This is the larger and most desirable version, 12" of blinking and screaming, big-Bat Fun! Near Mint to Mint in condition, this tin litho treat is a real keeper, still stored safely in its original EX box (no seam splits or stains, just light wear to the delicate edges, and all inserts still present), and worth far more than the minimum bid by itself.
