"Oldie But Goodie" '52 Pontiac Chieftain. Pontiacs were/are a rare treat. Kudos to Beto and Mary Salazar who built this. Chevy's are like the girls you pursued in High School and Pontiacs are their best friend that you shined on only to realize down the road that she was pretty fine too. The flathead straight 8 and 6 and the slushie Hydramatic kept a lot of guys away but they could be had for half the money back in the day. Good luck finding one now. Most were stripped for restoring Bel Airs and for that piece of trim under the side window that dips. LRM/SixPack

It's good to be the King. In the early '80's, SEMA members saw the untapped profit potential in the Low~Rider community. Star Wires started an aggressive ad campaign for it's wheels using club presidents to promote their products. This ad features Joe Ray, President of LIFESTYLE Car Club Los Angeles.

"Strictly Show" Father/Son build. Guadalupe B Naranjo and his father Tavo did the paint and interor on this '67 Impala Super Sport. With the bar raised so high these days, this would now be viewed as a driver. I like builds that bring families together. LRM/SixPack

"La Cucaracha" 1950 Chopped Chevy de Phoenix. Roof has a nice flow till you get to the back window. The decklid has to be cut down for a more balanced and continuous flow. Still a good looking cruiser. LRM/SixPac
