1937 Chevrolet Dirt Track Racer

This is a 1937 Chevrolet old school dirt track racer stock car.  The stock car is complete and running.  It is a vintage track ready racer.  The 6 cylinder chevy motor with Triple carb setup and Offenhouser Valve Covers make this a real runner.  It also has a corvette split exhaust manifold.

THIS RENOWNED TEAM BUILT VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE FACTORY FORD RACECARS DURING THE 1950'S, 60'S AND 70'S. THEY RANK AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL TEAM IN MOTORSPORTS HISTORY.


THE #28, 1940 FORD COUPE, WAS RESCUED FROM A SALVAGE YARD IN MASSACHUSETTES AND RESTORED TO ITS ORIGINAL LOOK. IT HAS SINCE BEEN MECHANICALLY RESTORED AS WELL, INCLUDING AN ENGINE REBUILD, BRAKES, DRIVE TRAIN, ETC.

Nolan Swift enthusiasts, bid on a part of 10 Pins history! This car was originally built and modified by Nolan Swift and his team in 1961. Raced 1961 through 1974 at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY and various other tracks from Ohio to Pennsylvania. This car was the top winning race car at Oswego Speedway which was its home track. Raced by Joe Paeno in 1974 in Oswego, NY with a different # and look. Restored back to 10 Pins look in early 2000's by present owner.

This is a homemade 34 Ford V8, which sits two people. Has only one door on drivers side.

This car includes:

Approximately 1,000 miles.
Windshield only. There are no driver, passenger or back windows, for like all race cars, it is not meant to have them.
Race Cam
Racing engine is size 183 and pistons are 60 over in size.
2 speed automatic racing transmission, hand clutch
torsion bar suspension
fuel cell
Franklin quick change rear end
4 wheel disc brakes
McCreary race car tires which all have excellent tire thread.

Bard Fresh period era correct untouched 33 Ford 5 window open wheel modified or super modified this car is ruff and crude but complete with some very hard to find parts!!
Body is a steel 33 Ford 5 window with the sills cut and folded down
Motor is a small block Chevy with unknown internals or condition
Transmission is a cast iron 4spd
Early quick change with coil overs front and rear 4 link front
Early Buick? front end with aluminum drums and aftemarket spindles
2 piece race wheels that look to be magnesium
