61 Lesabre more door. It's done ole skool, fresh Laguna blue w/white flaked and laced top. Above average stock interior. Driver quality bumpers, all the felts and rubbers are good. The 364 nailhead runs out good, has all new brake system, new radials w/porta walls, it's has static drop, cut coils. CD player, This old car has a strong presence on the road, even though it isn't perfect, it gets lots of attention,its not a show car but its just a cool mild custom sorta in the Bellflower fashion.

This 1961 Buick Invicta, built in the vein of Bellflower-style customs, is an original California car. If you like your customs with subtle modifications, this car should please–white walls, chrome wheels, a decked-out Nailhead, metal-flake and Lake Pipes are all present. Find it here on eBay in Omaha, Nebraska with the reserve not met.





Bellflower, California lends its name to these cars, as many cars with this look originally came from there. Blending lowrider and custom elements, these cars often let their largely stock stock body lines speak for themselves, defining themselves through custom paintwork instead of wild body mods. With lots of pearl in the white, and a heavily flaked silver roof, this car nails the look. Additionally, a modified 1958 Buick grille has been installed, a fourth Ventiport rests on each front fender (though the picture below seems to be older and only shows three), door handles have been smoothed and the emblems have been removed, leaving you with just enough chrome to catch the eye.





A lowered stance and the right wheels can make or break the look. Coker white-walls, chrome wheels and “Bullet” caps are classics. This angle shows off the famed “Bubbletop,” and the heavily metal flaked roof. Looking closely you can even make out some pin-striping buried in coats of clear. Note the side-exit Lake Pipes and killer stance, too.



Only two cabin shots are provided. One picture is of the pleated headliner which matches the upholstery shown in this photo. What can be seen suggests that other than upholstery, the interior is largely stock as even the dash-mounted clock is still there. The seller notes that the there is a one-inch tear on the seam on driver’s side of the split bench.



The original 401ci Nailhead lives under the hood with some great looking period touches. Power is passed to the stock Dynaflow, and the rumble leaves through the twice-pipes at the rear. Power steering and brakes make the drive more pleasant, and while Buick’s finned aluminum drums worked pretty well, they’ve been replaced in the front with Wilwood discs. The engine has received some maintenance in the past year, and though the seller acknowledges some drips, they’re said to be nothing major. That said, we’d spend some time toning down the aluminum radiator and shiny alternator, replacing the generic radiator hose, and of course, driving.
