This is a Joe Moreno Masterpiece
This Car was a 3 year build by the famous Joe Moreno of Southern California and spent time on the show circut there. It has won many awards such as the Oakland Roadster Show "Best Custom". It has too many mods to list so the pictures will give you all the details you need. It has a white non removable chopped padded Carson top with custom side glass. The paint is Candy Mint Green Pearl with a gorgeous white interior. Power steering and brakes. Rides on radial white walls and custom caps. Rear air lift. Custom front and rear bumpers. Its powered by the 350 Chevy 350 trans. It has a custom louvered motor cover which helps it stay cool. This is a fun to drive car which draws a huge crowd. If you want to have one of the nicest customs in the country...

1946 Ford Hot Rod - Chopped & Slammed
This 1946 Ford Hot Rod was a labor of love for the builder - featuring many wonderfully executed body modifications that add up to one mean, slammed looker of a Ford. Not only does this Ford have a killer look, but it also drives the part as well.
The car is a Goodguys award winner for "Best Chop Top" and there is no denying how well it was done. The angle chopped roof still maintains the full size rear window so visibility is now what it always was with the added benefit of the smokin' good new looks. Remember those bodylines that the '46 Ford had? Eell they are all gone now on all four fenders. The headlights have been frenched, trunk shaved, custom bumpers fitted, and don't miss the Oldsmobile grill. The body is all steel and done right. If we caught you looking, you know what it is.
The Ford gets its power from a smooth running 350 hooked to 700R4 transmission, and the car utilizes a Camaro front subframe which greatly improves the handling of the car. She's easy to drive thanks to power steering and power brakes, and wide whitewall tires and Cadillac hubcaps give the car the look. The car drives great on the street and rolls down the highway with ease with the help of the overdrive transmission.
Completing the look is a deep maroon paint job with custom pin striping and a 1960's style hotrod interior.

1947 Ford Convertible. It belonged to my father and he since has passed away. I am not a car dealer and am a private seller. I will do my best to describe the car and answer any and all questions. The car is located in Clearlake Oaks, CA and can be moved to Napa, CA for viewing. I will make time to show the car to anyone who is interested and I will screen people and determine who is really interested in the car. The car has been garaged and covered but does contain flaws in the paint. I have included a picture showing the result of the flaws that occur on the hood and truck. There is not spare tire because the car recently had a flat so I replaced it with the spare tire. Any shipping or transportation costs will be up to the buyer.
Here are some features of the car.
3.8 Fuel injected V-6
AOD transmission
9" ford rear end
power rack and pinion steering
air conditioned
cassette player
tilt wheel
disc brakes
pacer suspension
radial tires (does not come with spare)
2.5" chopped top
Carson top

Does anyone know what happened to the Arctic Sand 48 Ford custom? It was on the cover of the July 1957 Rod + Custom Magazine. They show it on the back page of this months Rod + Custom magazine. It was from the Detroit area. The owner was Ken Peterson of Lake Orion And he worked for General Motors. The magazine said it was built at the Clarkaiser shop. Dave Miller
The car met its end some years ago..I am friends with one of the owners after Ken Peterson.. I am going to have to get the more complete story from. The clone of it was known as Arctic Gold. Reasonably good job for the era. The owner of it died this past year. I don't know what became of the car.
Saw the Artic Gold in Springfield Ohio in the 80s at the KKOA show looked good!
If my memory serves me I remember the original being for sale in the Detroit News want ads in the mid 70's. I saw it right after I bought my Clarkaiser original.
I believe that it was in fairly rough shape at that point. I heard that it ended up being scrapped due to it's condition.
Don't know if this is when FASI's friend owned it or afterwards.
Great car. I would love to get my hands on the clone...
Torchie.
