1941 Willys Coupe "Vintage Thunder" - ALL STEEL CAR on it's original '41 Frame.

Street/Strip 340 Mopar (30 over) 9.99 to 1 comp. Edelbrock Alum Heads. Runs best on 91 octane pump gas. 750 Bigg's carb, LD340 intake manifold. Custom built ceramic coated headers. Has run 10.89 @ 120 mph & straight as a string. Custom built Wizard's radiator - runs 190 degrees. Mopar 904 w/ 2.75 low gear. Kilduff lenco style shifter. '61 Pontiac rear end w/ 4.56 gears spool & 31 spline strange axles. 15x4 small kidney bean polished alum Hailbrand repops on front, 15x8.5" Alum Indy slotts on rear. 28.5 x 9.0 x 15 slicks on rear. 8 pt chrome moly roll bar bolted to frame so body is still removable. Chrome window mouldings. All real glass no lexan windows. Windows roll up & down nicely. Leather covered original seat with original package tray. Optima battery. Polished Wilwood front disc brakes, '61 Pontiac drum on rear. All chrome front straight axle suspension. Chrome ladder bars on rear. Original gas tank with sump and electric fuel pump & all braided stainless steel fuel line. Titled and licensed. Have bolt on glass packs and a set of new cheater slicks mounted on polished slotts for the street. Paint is 2000 Viper red base coat/clear coat.

1941 Willys Gasser finished in Copperhead over Cream interior. Coming to us having been completely restored, this Gasser is a modern build that displays show quality looks with the power to back it up! The entire dash and tops of the doors are also finshed in Copperhead. Car runs and drives was a race car back in Illinois in the 90s I believe .
The car has a 41 willys chassis and is
REGISTERED as a 41 willys
Glass tilt nose and suicide doors
10 gal fuel cell out back with a roll bar too.
Have all the spindle mount wheels and brakes to race it again might throw it in if i get close to my number .
Has Monte Carlo swivel seats at the shop now so there not red anymore.

1941 Willys coupe fiberglass body on a custom frame powered by a 355 Chevrolet engine driving through a 400 Turbo transmission. It is a C/Gas dragster with a 9” Ford Posi rear end with a 3.83:1 ratio. It has seat belts, leather racing seats, and Cragar wheels. Since it is a street or strip vehicle, it features an AM/FM CD player. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. [ omitted ]. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look.
